Serral vs Garitos

Win: Ever Dream (map1)

Garitos starts the series off with a weird, hidden base in the down-right corner of the map. 

Garitos takes a big army of lings to Serral's natural but is unable to break the full wall Serral puts up. Serral takes almost an identical attack on the other side of the map, but gets more for his money as he takes down queens and drones. 

Serral scouts the hidden base , to which he attacks immediately with roaches. They annihilate the base. Even a wrap around Serral's reinforcements doesn't slow him down for long as the acid showers of the roachers take down lings easily. Serral moves in for the finishing blow, where he picks off all the defensive banelings and gets the first map win.

Win: Pillars of Gold (map 2)

Garitos goes for the 13-12 opening, and sends out a handfull of lings and one rogue drone. He puts down a spine on Serral's natural, and makes a very succesfull attack with banelings added to the mix. 

He takes down the natural, and while Serral has the worker lead, Garitos has 2 bases up. Serral cleans up the remaining forces.

Garitos decides to follow up with roaches, which Serral scouts and prepares his base with defensive spines and a wall with queens. Serral's roaches come out in time and take down the army knocking on his front step. 

Serral puts the final nail in the coffin with a big roach push with +2 attack upgrades. Garitos's forces melt before our eyes and Serral secures his perfect Group Stage run!
