PGL Major Antwerp 2022
Info
The whole world is watching — it’s time to show off our blazing hot form! 24 of the top teams gather in Antwerp, Belgium, to compete for the $1,000,000 prize pool, and most importantly, the title of a Major Champion.
After fighting for our Major spot in the RMR Europe B, and only barely missing out on the Legends Status, we start our Major run in the Challengers Stage together with 15 other teams. The eight remaining teams await in the Legends Stage.
Both the Challengers Stage and the Legends Stage are played using the Swiss System Format, beginning with Bo1’s and switching to Bo3’s in the Advancement and Elimination matches. Meanwhile, the playoffs a.k.a. the Champion Stage will be a standard Single-Elimination bracket. However, just like in PGL Major Stockholm, the playoffs will be played in front of a live crowd.
