Welcome, hades

It’s only fitting to replace a god with another, so Olek “hades” Miskiewicz will now officially be taking over the AWP role.

After allu’s decision to take a break and step aside from the active roster, the Head Coach, Eetu “sAw” Saha and the General Manager, Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen were considering possible substitutes to take over the role.

One of the options they landed on was a young Polish AWPer by the name of Olek “hades” Miskiewicz. The 21-year-old joined the team as a stand-in, while both allu and the team were considering their way forward.

It didn’t take long to see what a natural fit he was for the roster. In his debut event with us, LOOTBET Season 9, he averaged a rating of 1.34, leading us to our first victory in nearly two years and winning over the hearts of the fans.

“The team chemistry is really good. I felt very welcomed here and I felt like I knew the boys for much longer than I actually have.”

- Olek “hades” Miskiewicz

Now, the final decision has been made to continue forward with hades officially being a part of the roster.

“It has been just over a month now with hades as a stand-in, which is a long time in the competitive environment. With more and more officials coming up it's good to make a decision about the roster. Things have been looking good with hades, and from the beginning, it just felt that everything clicked both inside and outside of the game. It is a great pleasure to welcome hades into ENCE and to start working even harder together!”

- Eetu “sAw” Saha, Head Coach

You’ll be able to see this aggressive star in our colors during the on-going Funspark ULTI: EU Playoffs #1 and Elisa Invitational Summer 2021, as well as the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14 in August. Make sure to give your warmest welcomes to hades!

Here’s a short interview, so you can get to know Olek a little better.

Thank you, allu

In May, we made the announcement that Aleksi “allu” Jalli would be stepping down from the active roster due to personal reasons. Now, the paths of allu and our CS:GO team will officially go their separate ways.

Farewell, sergej.

Jere "sergej" Salo has been inactive in the roster ever since the start of his mandatory Finnish military service in January. Now, our chapter with sergej officially comes to an end, as a still unannounced organization has bought out the remainder of his contract.
