Farewell, sergej.

Jere "sergej" Salo has been inactive in the roster ever since the start of his mandatory Finnish military service in January. Now, our chapter with sergej officially comes to an end, as a still unannounced organization has bought out the remainder of his contract.

Sergej joined us as a young and hungry 16-year-old prodigy and blossomed into a true star. From the legendary IEM Katowice 2019 run to reaching #13 in the HLTV’s yearly Top 20 list, sergej has shown the world what he is capable of. Still, we are certain he has a lot more to show and a long, promising career ahead of him.

sergej was a key piece in our 2018 and 2019 success and was named 13th best player in the world in 2019 by HLTV

"I want to thank Jere for everything he has achieved with us during his time in ENCE. Jere was one of the key elements for our success in 2018 & 2019, and hopefully he will find new motivation to practice and play with his new team. I wish him all the best for his future and hopefully we will meet in the server soon enough"

- Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, GM at ENCE

Thank you for the past years and good luck for the ones ahead!
