ENCE as the leading Finnish esports team is expanding to PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS by signing the Finnish roster of o1ne, who plays in the PUBG EUROPE LEAGUE (PEL).
As of today, the PUBG roster formerly known as o1ne is representing ENCE in PUBG esports. The team is starting its journey in the $225,000 PUBG EUROPE LEAGUE Phase 1 on the 21st of March. ENCE will be housing the team in Berlin, Germany for the league and the team is departing there in the coming weeks.
“We are proud to enter PUBG Europe League with the most competitive roster from Finland. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has taken significant steps in creating attractive league structure, justifying ENCE to start expanding internationally. Our team could not be more excited to establish operations and a gamehouse in Berlin.”, says Mika Kuusisto, CEO of ENCE

The new ENCE PUBG lineup was established in the summer of 2018 with the ambition of bringing a fully Finnish roster to the top echelon of PUBG esports. Managing to qualify for the upcoming PEL at the Closed Qualifier in Minsk last December was a huge stepping stone to the team and enables the team to participate in the pinnacle of competitive PUBG in Europe.
ENCE is excited to enter a new esports title and have our team house established in Berlin this coming spring.
“We are feeling really good to have found a home after the tournament in Minsk. ENCE is an organization we all wanted to represent after our negotiations with our previous team fell through. Our ambition in the Pro League is to challenge the best teams in Europe and qualify to PUBG Corp’s global events, where we get to challenge all the best teams in the world.”, says Jari “SENTEX” Sammalniemi, Coach of the ENCE PUBG
