The Road To Minor

The Road To Minor

In under a week we will be headed to Katowice to compete in the European Minor for the second time and this time the team is ready to go that one step further. Having competed in the London Minor last year the team just narrowly missed out on securing a spot at one of the most coveted events of the year. This time the team are coming into it with a string of successful events under their belt and will be looking to push the boundaries once again.

The Minor is an important hurdle that we really want to get across. Looking at the teams, we have a great challenge ahead of us but at the same time all the possibilities to pull through and make it to the next Major are there. The boys have been working hard to be ready for the event and a bootcamp at the office will help them finalize their preparation ahead of the Katowice trip.

The Minor in Katowice, Poland will host all the regions Minors across 2 weeks with ENCE competing 16th-20th January for the EU Region. Joining them are the likes of Mousesports, North and Optic who will stand in their way. With less than a week to go the team will be busy preparing for their group which was just announced where they will face the ex-Space Soldiers lineup in their first game of Group B. Also joining them in the group will be North and Windigo.

The tournament this time around will have three possible spots for a place at the Major. The top two teams will be moving straight on to the main event, however all the Third Place teams across all the region Minors will then compete in a bracket for a final spot. ENCE are favoured to be one of the teams to advance on to the Major which will be a huge step forward for the team as they look to break into the Top 10 of the world. You will be able to catch all the action starting January 16th right here on and we hope you cheer the team on as they fight to secure their spot at their very first Major.
