Early November takes ENCE to Beijing-Haidian, China to compete in the IEM Season XIV. The participation was announced in October, as Team Liquid forfeited their spot in the tournament. The boys are eager and ready to step in to get some more events under their belts before the year is over.
This is the time to show how the practice after DreamHack Master: Malmö has taken effect. The crazy travel schedule the team had in the early autumn has calmed down and they’ve had the time to focus on preparation.
The first team we are facing in the group stage is 100 Thieves, with the former Renegades roster, who got signed by them on the 31st of October. It’s a chance for payback, as Renegades dropped ENCE out of the StarLadder Berlin Major Quarterfinals. Other teams in our group are Astralis and ViCi Gaming.
The stakes in the competition are high. Besides the $125,000 the winning team will take home, they receive a direct seed to one of the biggest tournaments in 2020 – IEM: Katowice.
