Hearthstone Global Games Coverage

Coverage 3.6.2017

Finland 3-1 Japan

The Hearthstone Global Games will see teams from each country represented by the players voted by the community battle it out to determine the top country. The competition will run across a number of months with the first phase kicking off with an Eight group (six team) stage with the top two of each group making it through to the second group stage. Each team will have four players and will battle in a BO5 with the ‘Ace’ playing the decider game in case of a 2-2 draw.

Team Finland will have our very own Kufdon compete and joining him in the team will be Wampie, Ersee and Janetzky (team anchor). The team will be playing in Group E along side Japan, Italy, Norway, Chile and Israel.

The tournament boasts a $300,000 prize pool with first place taking $60,000 ($15,000 for each player) as well as the title of Global Champion for their country. The first stages start April 11th and run through June 11th with Finland playing their first games April 12th. You will be able to catch all the action live here and we hope you will support Kufdon and team Finland as they challenge other countries from around the world.
